Join Merrimack Faculty and Staff Employee Resource Groups

Employee resource groups, or ERGs, are internal communities of employees and faculty with shared identities and interests. Merrimack currently has 5 active ERGs. Each group is focused on creating space for like-minded people to connect with and support one another. The ERGs explore ways to collaborate with student groups that share their identities and passion, and also support the recruitment, retention, professional, and career development of employees who share these identities. Each group is chaired by two employees, whose contact information is listed below.

International Faculty & Staff
The International ERG seeks to create a knowledge and resource pool from their experiences regarding unique challenges international employees face at Merrimack, to provide support for various communities at Merrimack including International students and scholars, to create a culturally diverse campus environment, and to provide a forum for socialization for new and continuing International employees.

Merrimack Professionals of the Global Majority
Merrimack Professionals of the Global Majority
seeks to foster networking, professional development, mentoring, and leadership opportunities with a focus on the recruitment, retention, learning, and advancement of faculty and staff at Merrimack College who identify as Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC). Merrimack Professionals of the Global Majority aims to increase awareness of cultural differences and advocate on the behalf of the BIPOC community within Merrimack.

Rising Warriors Collective
The Rising Warriors Collective is dedicated to fostering a collaborative and inclusive community for new professional faculty and staff within the first seven years of their careers. Our mission is to provide opportunities for personal and professional development, networking, mentorship and cross-department engagement. Through workshops, social events and community building initiatives, we aim to empower new professionals to thrive in their roles, contribute meaningfully to the college's mission and cultivate leadership skills that will propel their future success.

Warrior Pride
Warrior Pride represents LGBTQIA+ ERG and seeks to promote an inclusive community for lesbian, bisexual, gay, transgender, and queer employees. Warrior Pride will serve as a visible, accessible resource for LGBTQIA+ employees and their allies and will provide LGBTQIA+ focused networking, educational, and social opportunities for the Merrimack community.

Warrior Trailblazers
The
First Generation ERG, Warrior Trailblazers, is dedicated to supporting and mentoring all First Generation employees at Merrimack. The Mission of the Warrior Trailblazers is to foster networking, professional development, mentoring, and leadership opportunities with a focus on the recruitment, retention, learning, and advancement of faculty and staff at Merrimack College who identify as first generation college students.
