Important Information

It is advised that you contact your advisor or your school office before you complete this form.

Note: If the add/drop deadline for your course has not passed, you are able to drop the course directly in MyMack without submitting this form. This form is to be used AFTER the add/drop date for your course has passed.

Deadlines for add/drop are listed below:

January 22 - Last day to add/drop a Full Term 16-week course.

Deadlines for course withdrawal are listed below:

February 23 - Last day to withdraw from a Term 1 8-week course.
April 21 - Last day to withdraw from a Full Term 16-week course.
April 27- Last day to withdraw from a Term 2 8-week course.

Before you withdraw from a course you should consider the following:

1. A withdrawal may incur a course deficiency that must be made up in the future.
2. While the advantages of a W (not computed into your GPA) over an F are clear, a low passing grade may have advantages over a W in your particular case. You should have a discussion with your instructor about your course difficulties and the chance of achieving an acceptable grade.
3. If you are withdrawing from a course that is required of your major/minor, you will need to retake the course. Please be aware this will be considered a repeated course and you will only earn the credits for that course once.
4. Please be advised that undergraduate students enrolled in fewer than 12 credits and graduate students enrolled in fewer than 8 credits are considered part-time and may be at risk of becoming ineligible for campus housing, financial aid, scholarships, athletic participation and health insurance.

Students should consult the College's Refund Policy to clarify whether they are eligible for a refund
